MrVic: Well the Ordnance Board pushed forward a project to revise the M48 in 1952. The end result and was approved in 1959 and classifeid as the M60 MBT. First production run M60 was 1959-1960, First one deployed was in 1960. Personally I think it pushes us well beyond the time frame. Maybe down the road but for now I think its to far out myself. Also the M103 has lots of leg room overall and should fulfill the tier 10 role quite well overall.
But always fun to think about :)
