Overall to the OP topic, the higher tier ones are pretty balanced so far that I have seen. a IS-4 with the 130mm and used right is better then a 4502 but without the 130mm the 4502 is better. But the 4502 with the 12.8 is easily equal to a IS-4. Its all the manner in use them and if you play their strengths I think. The IS-7 vs Maus is pretty level. Right now in random matches tho the Maus suffers from a lack of support due to random players with it. Its durability easily offsets the IS-7 speed but weaker armor and soft spots. It seems its all about who is driving the tank and what kinda of support they have.
Much of this comes down to the skill of the players on both sides of the fight and how they deal with them.
