MrVic: Just for fun and I was holding my calculator while reading the
speed conversation.
Example Tiger 2 sitting still running maximum RPMs and full power to Hydraulics could rotate its turret in 9 secs.
A target moving 120kph = 75mph = 109.35 feet per sec
So.... If your lets say to its left side and its facing off to the right thats 180 degree turn in 4.5 sec meaning the fast moving tank could travel up to 492 feet in that period of time
and is probably going to drive away from its 8.8cm guns arc
So if the tiger is facing directly forward and sitting at maximum RPMs again (which they would not do very often) and a fast tank appears 45 degrees off to its left and starts to traverse. The fast tank can travel 245 feet in that time
assuming the fast tank is moving at that speed in a perfect terrain environment blah blah blah
