Lert:   Out of sheer curiosity, how would playing against bots help newbies better than playing against people? Would stats vs bots remain / count? What would you learn vs bots that you don't learn vs players?   Taking WoWS CBT as example, players have an option between co-op battles (teams of players with bots playing vs a team of all bots) and random battle (only players on both teams) - in fact, newbie players who haven't 'leveled up' to rank 2 yet can only play co-op battles - but those bot ships don't teach good play particularly well. They're quite dangerous, they'll shoot to kill and throw torps, but they don't really have any tactics whatsoever. Also, in WoWS, co-op battles earn only half the XP that randoms do. WoT might introduce a similar system, we'll just have to wait and see.
