"anti-mine tank" concept for gaming

Lert: 1) Why would we need anti-mine tanks when we don't have mines? Seriously, what do they bring that is 'more exciting' to play? 2) No mines. Not now, not ever. Been suggested many times before, not going to happen. Ever. The game shouldn't directly punish you for having the sheer audacity to drive somewhere.
