Introducing the Mac Wrapper for World of Tanks

Laera: Tankers!   We're excited to announce today the testing phase of the brand new Mac Wrapper for World of Tanks! The Wrapper is still in early stages so were asking for your help and feedback on making it awesome! If you're a Mac user and are interested in helping us test the Mac wrapper, please feel free to download it here: http://dl.wargaming.net/wot/us/files/worldoftanks.dmg    Once downloaded, give the game a spin and leave a report on this thread with any feedback. We're looking for any possible information to help us improve the quality of the product. To help us most, please follow the instructions:   Find out and copy the information on your mac configuration (make a screenshot or simply copy-paste). Your mac configuration info window can be found in  -> About This Mac -> More Info… at your mac upper panel. When running the WOT client go to the graphical settings (ESC -> Settings -> Graphics within your client) and select “high” preset. Enter a battle and record the client FPS. FPS can be found in the upper left corner of the in-battle interface. Repeat recording the FPS at the other graphical settings (e.g. minimum, low, medium). Try playing around with the graphical presets to find what works best at your mac in terms of the client performance and FPS. Submit the information on the mac configuration to us together with the collected information on FPS at different graphical settings and general feedback on the product in the following form:   Mac configuration Model e.g. MacBook Pro Retina, 13-inch, Early 2013 Processor e.g. 3 GHz Intel Core i7 Memory e.g. 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphics e.g. Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB Software e.g. OS X 10.9 Graphical preset FPS High Your FPS at high graphical settings, e.g. 30 Medium Your FPS at medium  graphical settings, e.g.40 Low Your FPS at low graphical settings, e.g.45 Minimum Your FPS at minimum graphical settings, e.g. 55 General feedback on the product Short general feedback report including any found bugs. E.g.: Works great!       Additionally please submit the following files to World of Tanks Support > Game Support with the title of “Mac Wrapper Information”: 5-10 replays taken while using the Mac wrapper (can be found in Documents/World_of_Tanks/replays) Files python.log, influx_PS.log (also found in in Documents/World_of_Tanks) Screenshots of “game” and “graphics” preference tabs with your best performing configuration.   Please read the Mac Wrapper Support Forum before downloading   Please keep in mind that the Mac Wrapper was developed by a 3rd party and is not officially supported by Wargaming. With your help we can work together to improve this wrapper and offer more stable support.    Q&A Is the Wrapper available for anyone to download? Yes! This wrapper is available to all Mac users. Tell your Mac friends! We are looking for as many people as we can get to put this wrapper through the paces.    I found a bug! That's great! Well, not great but it will help us improve the product! Please leave any reports of bugs in the Mac Support Forum. Be sure to be as specific as possible. What were you doing when the bug occurred? How is the bug affecting the game? Also, please include a screenshot.   I don't see any mention of this on the portal or on other regions. What gives? Again, this is still in the testing phase so the wrapper is not officially supported...yet. This was a feature that was highly requested by the NA player base and so we're taking the lead to have it tested and get it up to speed.    What do I do if I have a technical issue? Right now we are in the testing phase of this wrapper. This means that we have a limited amount of support we can offer for the wrapper at this time.
