1.9 update issue

HOGhog789, on Apr 29 2020 - 14:36, said: Hello everyone so i'm in a hard spot right now.  i have been playing this years for about 8 years I believe and I have never had a issue like this before.  I was able to play the game until the 10th anniversary update started to download.  I was very excited for this and saw it started to download.  However It didn't even get past the 4% mare and went back to zero saying my internet connection was bad.  This is not true because I can go on chrome do homework play other games even some on game center.  I tried everything rebooting my system I probably re installed it 20 times this week.  I contacted their support and while I appreciated them giving me feedback it was just the things that I've been doing.  I un plugged my router tried multiple things regarding my internet, but nothing has helped.  There was one time where it got up to 80% and then the connection notice came up and had to retry again.  I'm literally pulling my hair out because I know its not me!  I really want to check out the new changes and play the game that I've loved for 8 years and to have this stupid error happening just feels unfair.  I feel like WG is saying ooops this guy has been playing for 8 years lets just prevent him from downloading the game and block him from all the money, time, and effort he's put into it.  The tickets aren't a help either as its hard to fix a problem like this when different people respond every 3-7 days.  They should have a call center department for technical errors like this which would be so much more helpful.  Does anyone have any Idea's or maybe can suggest something that I didn't try?
