Incoming! New Refer a Friend update coming to World of Tanks!

Or is it like the last time, where once someone is a recruit they can never be a commander? If someone logs in but does not play a battle, will that reset their 60-day count toward being inactive? For instance, let's say I have a friend who hasn't played a battle in 6 months, but they logged in to look  at their garage last week. Will I be able to recruit them? If I have two recruits, will they get bonuses for playing together, or do each of them only get bonuses for playing with the commander?   Thanks!

KRZYBooP:   To my understanding at this time.  1. Yes you can become a commander after you reach 1000 battles even if you were a recruit.  2. The Video stats "not played a battle" so if they log on to look and don't play then they should be fine.  3. Commander only gets a bonus. They will still get the normal platoon bonus though.

KRZYBooP:   Recruits can do solo missions but commanders don't have Solo missions.

Will our referred friends get orphaned when 2.0 kicks in or will they be grandfathered into the 2.0 system?   My specific problem is that my friend has 177 battles fought so far. It is possible that he will eclipse 200 battles fought tonight. WoT ver 1.4 is going to roll out at some point in the future. My recruit is not going to go dark for 60 days to wait for eligibility to kick in again. Under your new Referral 2.0 system, what happens to recruits like this? Do they get cast aside like unwanted trash? Do they get automatically grandfathered in to the 2.0 system (unlikely given the new interface and the restriction to 2 recruits at a time)?   Simply telling my friend to torpedo his account (delete it and all of his progress to date) and start a new account is not very likely to happen, especially since he would miss out on the accrued scavenger hunt progress.
