where people can communicate directly with whoever sanctioned them,
and clear up misunderstandings without support being in the middle.
It would ideally be set up like this:-Link to section leads you to page where you can submit an appeal.
-You fill out appropriate info, like what you meant by the thread, or intended to say, etc.
-You send report. Reports can only be viewed by you, affiliated parties (if any), and WG employees/mods
-Reports may only be officially replyed to by mods, but may be commented on privately by affiliated parties (Mods can see comments, but not the defendant)
-Mod who issued sanction may repeal, or commute sanction, but if they choose not to, members of Mod/GM team votes on it if serious.
-Appeals only allowed once every 24 hours unless given permission by mod in case of error.
This is merely a thought, and is not meant to criticize WG, or employees of WG. What do you think, JT?
Jewel_Thief: I think it's a great idea-- but we already have a system in place--
and by registering for our game/forum, you have already agreed to
it... See our Forum Rules:
Quote 2. PROHIBITIONS and RESTRICTIONS
...
2.8 Discussing disciplinary actions
This category includes:
1. Creating posts or threads to discuss disciplinary actions taken against a player in game or on the forums
2. Creating posts or threads to discuss moderators or moderator decisions and actions
Such disputes or appeals are to be lodged to (World of Tanks Support)
Jewel_Thief: The folks in Support are suuuuper thorough in their investigations,
and are, for all intents and purposes, an impartial party to the
matter... As such, our appeals process is working just fine. :)
Best,
