be the 1st of October. I've corrected it

times for tourneys was about 3 years ago. I believe Dance210 was
running them. There were a lot of tourneys, the prize pool was
excellent and they were very well organized. Currently the 7 v 7 is
interesting with several options available where teams can field 4
to 7 players. My suggestion would be to just leave it at a maximum
tier and no minimum. Honestly I would prefer to see just a 5 player
, say 40 pt maximum with 2 reserve players. Speaking of reserves,
the 5 V 5 should have 2 reserves, 3 V 3 should have 1 reserve, heck
even 2 V 2 should have 1 reserve. In the latest 7 V 7 we had
6 players registered thinking we would be fine. Well 1 player hit a
deer on the way home with his vehicle and another was unexpectedly
forced to work late and therefore we were down to 4 players.
Needless to say we did not do well. Another big issue I have as
well as everyone else in our clan I speak to is the addition of
Personal Reserves to the Prize Pool. One player I spoke to has
between 3000 - 4000. Others have over 1000. They use them when they
can but with so many Personal Reserves being issued, they literally
become useless as a Prize. I would suggest either adding more Gold
or replacing the Personal Reserves with Bonds. If the Personal
Reserves were added to Stores and they could be sold, then that
would also solve the problem of the overabundance of PR's. I would
also suggest making the Prize Pool for Gold rewards more
interesting so that the less skilled players have a better chance
of obtaining Gold. 1 V 1 could be 1st-5K, 2nd-4k, 3rd-3k, 4th-2k,
5th-1k for a total of 15K rewarded per grouping/bracket. If those
amounts are deemed to be too generous, than how about 1st-3K,
2nd-2.5K, 3rd-2K, 4th-1.5K, 5th-1K for a total of 10K rewarded per
grouping. Still too generous? Ok then 1st-2.5K, 2nd-2K, 3rd-1.5K,
4th 1K, 5th-500 for a total of 7.5K. However when I look at the
August 11th 3 V 3 tourney which rewarded 25K for 1st, 15k for 2nd
and 7.5K for 3rd, my first suggestion for 1 V 1 makes the most
sense IMO. 3 V 3 + 1 Reserve could be 20K for 1st, 16K-2nd,
12K-3rd, 8K-4th, 4K-5th and so on. A simple formula based on the 1
V 1 with 5K for 1st multiplied by the number of players allowed per
team plus reserve player(s). My suggestions are made to try and
improve on the current system and are not made to complain. It is
truly EXCELLENT to have the tournaments back and running so Thank
You very much to the Organizers and those responsible who have made
this happen. :-) Jambijon: One thing I wanted to change when I started running these
tournaments was to up the prizing from our previous years.
Playing 8 battles in a Tier X and only receiving an average of 750
- 900 Gold for first place is a little absurd considering the
amount of resources used at that tier. Take today's Sunday 1v1 as
an example. First prize would net you 3k gold, 15 credit
boosters, and 3 tank styles (which are being sold for 9.99 for 1 in
the shop) for playing 5 battles in a tier 9 tank. I agree that
having reserve players is good, and we kept that trend until we
implemented a new crediting system which pays out shortly after the
tournament is finished rather than the usual week to two week
credit timeline. However, when teams consist of different
amount of players it requires us to do a manual payout which takes
about a week. Running teams with reserves is not an issue for
us, it was more for the benefit of players being paid out almost
immediately after they finished their tournament. As
TheDerpinator said, personal reserves can be stagnant for some, but
others love them, especially credit boosters for higher
tiers. Depending on the tournament, and tier will
generally designate what kind of prizes you can expect. Like
the challenger/mastery brackets. If I run a tournament
catered for players a lower tiers, I want to give them rewards that
will help them with progression through the game. I
understand where you're coming from and I appreciate the
feedback/suggestions! This is one of the main reason why I
publish a schedule for the month so everyone gets to see what was
planned and to open up some dialogue for suggestions and
feedback. We do listen to feedback and are open to
suggestions, since its you, the players, who are participating in
these tournaments. Free Xp is an interesting
idea, and I'll definitely look into that one! Also, for those
who haven't seen the Oct. preview, we will be implementing
Tournament specific missions. I'll update this post tomorrow
with the mission details. Thanks
everyone!
