dunniteowl, on Oct 11 2021 - 20:47, said:   If you place yourself into a position that REQUIRES your team mates' cooperation and coordination without a lot of chat, then YOU need to stop doing that.  If you place yourself into a position that ALLOWS YOU to support your Green Mates, hold a position that Red Team balks at, then YOU are doing what you need to do to maximize your own potential.   If you NEED others to figure out what YOU are doing in order to make a 'thing' work, then YOU have made the mistake.  You can't rely on your team mates to know what they're doing.  Ever.  You can HOPE they might know, but if you RELY on them knowing what you have in mind and what they need to do to make your idea work, then you are the one making the mistake of tactics.  There's no other way to point that out.   So, if I find that I placed myself into a position that I have difficulty in extricating or making more successful without team mates, then I OWN that and admit to me that, "Maybe I should have tried something else, instead."      Meanwhile, here I am in a spot and I'm going to have to either make it work for me, make it work for my team or make it HARD for Red Team to do anything useful to remove me.  Beyond that, I can't expect my team to come help, provide support from their positions or to even notice I'm in a tough spot.   None of those other guys, though, placed me there.  That's 100% on me and I cannot expect my team mates to help me sort it.  I HOPE they might, but I can't EXPECT anything beyond what I can do there at that time.
