If you are in the top 3,000, how do you select the tank you want? There will be a page on the World of Tanks website that
allows you to choose.
How long will the Campaign last? 3 Stages, up to 10 days each. 1 day break between stages. Yes, this means Thanksgiving is a day off. Have fun with your families and football, America.
If I choose the (insert tank here) and already possess it, will I be "refunded" the 22,500 gold? If you have the tank in your garage already, you will not be able to select it.
Can you confirm if the Campaign will be Nov 17 - Dec 18 like on EU? For this Campaign, we are on the same schedule as EU. This means Thanksgiving will be a night off, and we'll be done before Christmas.
Will clan fame affect its member's fame? because otherwise i don't see the difference between clan fame and victory point except a change of name. It would be more correct to say that the members' fame affects the clans fame. There will also be other ways to attain clan fame. The way the clan fame works is somewhat of a hybrid of the previous vp/fp systems. We'll make this much more clear when the rules and fame point guide are released.
I want to participate in this campaign but I have to find a good clan to play on? Clan Wars (and the events based on it) are for players in clans only. The best place to start looking is the Recruiting Station.
Can a clan participate in the first two stages if they don't have enough players that are active with tier tens? Yes, clans can participate in however many stages of the Campaign they wish.
How many games per night would a clan participate in? There is no limit.
How many players are needed on each team for tier 1-6 and tier 1-8 stages? Battles will still be 15v15.
Can I just request like 22.5k gold instead of a tank? Or the value of gold for a tank (which is basically 22.5k)? No.
Will the clan camo be able to be applied to all tanks, or just one? It can be applied to any tank. Update: Many people have misread this as thinking that it applies to every tank. That theory is incorrect. When I say it can be applied to any tank, that means that any tank can have the camo. Once the camouflage is applied to a vehicle, it is used, and cannot be applied to another vehicle. If you change to a different camo pattern on the tank which the special camo is applied, you still have the option of going back to the Campaign camo at any time on that tank.
Can you please clarify, does (Tiers I-VI, I-VIII, I-X) mean max tier of (6,8,10) for the entire stage, or does it mean a day or two of tier 1, day or two of tier 2, etc. ? This means max tier of tier (6,8,10) for the entirety of the stage.
Could we close regular map? Not enough beef to fight The regular map will remain open. The Campaign map for NA is going to be a smaller version of the map to make it a bit more competitive and help reduce the number of technical victory/defeats.
Are Object 907 penetration values (as well as all other characteristics) final? The stats are not expected to change any time soon. That being said, in nearly every patch there's buffs/nerfs, however these are based on statistics collected over time, not player requests. If the tank's performance proves insufficient, it may get adjusted.
Will fame points be only attainable in Clan Wars games or will there also be individualized missions that others can complete lets say in strongholds/standard battles for more fame? Fame Points can only be earned on the Campaign map.
Will the smaller map just consist of the just the U.S.? will it be the U.S. and mexico or The U.S. and Canada? Or is it specially designed? It'll be the 48 mainland states. All 5 of our prime times will be represented.
Also, what was the reasoning on limiting the size of the campaign map (where you want more people to be participating) rather than limiting the size of the current map during the campaign? A full size map has been too open in previous events for our population and led to too many technical victories/defeats. With less land available, clans will need to fight it out a bit more, which will in turn lead to them scoring more Fame Points.
Also, with the campaign being only in the lower 48 states, are there going to be additional landing zones added in those territories? Yes, a few will be added.
Tank locking Y/N? Tank Locking will be disabled on the Campaign Map.
Will the the vp/fp rewards be higher in tier 10 than they are in tier 8, and 8 higher than 6? The 3 stages should be more-or-less balanced out. Like in the last Campaign, there will be a multiplier to put lower tier tanks on par with the higher ones (since Tier VI often earns less XP than Tier X vehicles)
