WarGaming is really starting to get sloppy. Thank god another game will be coming out with tank warfare.


Hypnotik: The Jinx event and this one have nothing to do with each other. There is no reason why the announcement from that would effect this event at all. However, I have been told that results from that should be expected by the start of next week.

Let's be real, we all know the status quo remains unchanged no matter how they try to screw with the rules. There will be the usuals on the map and they will farm. The fringes of the maps are going to be the only places with any kind of action because there will be turnover.

Those clans aren't trying to "farm", they are just trying to get on and stay on. There will be no incentive for them to hold anything. The best bet will be just to land and leave. Is that kind of gameplay what they really want?

As usual, the rules are trying to subvert the status quo, it won't happen. The best clans are the best clans and they will do their usual thing... because they can.

WG dreams up these rules to try and create action but those who are participating are going to attempt to maximize their results for their effort... and the rules as they are lend to slash and burn as opposed to win most of the time. Again, only those that KNOW they can win 100% of the time will be on the lands for more than 1 day. Because if you win even 9/10 you've gained nothing because that 1 loss takes everything.


Hypnotik: This stage's mechanics allow for both types of Clans to earn Victory Points and help their teams win. If a clan chooses to farm and is able to hold it, good for them. If they decide to raid others who are farming and are successful, good for them. No matter which method you choose, there are risks and rewards. Either way you will have to win battles somewhere on the map in order to protect or steal Victory Points.

I can foresee clans not being able or wanting to put everyone in for there will be a greater need to win overall and, not just get everyone their required battles count in.

As stated above by Joe it will cause clan fracturing.


Hypnotik: The reward is based on team performance (Fame Points come from a team's experience, not individual's). There are also a few ways to earn Fame Points for every player in your Clan (See here and here). As for "clan fracturing", we do not tell Clans how to make internal decisions.
