Hypnotik: Recently we asked you all for feedback about the Clan Spotlight
series, and we received a great response. Thank you to all those
who answered the questions, we appreciate it. Now we’d like to
share the results with you.
Overall, people are very happy with the length of the interviews, both portal and extended (forum) versions.
There were several great recommendations of questions for Clans in the Spotlight which we intend to ask in future interviews and livestreams.
Most people do not stream when they are trying to fight against the Spotlight Company, but this was an expected result. The reasons were pretty equally because either players prefer not to stream their gameplay or because their computer/connection can’t handle it. Some people were unaware that this is a way to double their winnings - all you have to do is stream your match on your own Twitch account, and send me a link to your stream after the fight in a forum PM.
The primary reasons that people like to watch the stream on Twitch.tv were to learn how other clans call battles and to see how other clans communicate with each other. This is one of the main objectives of this series, so we’re glad to hear they’re being used as such.
The most common types of questions people would like to see in the future are “Clan Wars strategies/experiences” and “history of the Clan”. These will both be focused on a little bit more in the future, especially during the Spotlights on the more experienced clans. There were also several great write-in responses to this question.
Many people also wrote about the types of Clans they’d like to see in the spotlight, and it was a very mixed response. Many like to see the more experienced and more influential Clans, while others want to see the smaller Clans get their 15 minutes. You’ll end up seeing both, but the way Clans are selected is a bit more complex than that. We choose a Clan to feature for a variety of reasons, usually a different reason each time.
