see Party Prep: "Kill 3 Enemies". Enter Battle. Lovely Tier
6 match and the game kicks off with me getting first blood on a TD,
1 down, 2 to go. However, all of a sudden, within 12 seconds, the
entire enemy flank across the map slams into our main push and
collapses and 7 tanks down, along with most of our team as
well. I push with an M4 and a KV-85 into enemy base, hoping for the
artillery or some stragglers. There were indeed a few tanks in
base- the M4 and KV-85 removed them with my help, and the KV-85
scores an arty. Suddenly, there are two crippled enemy tanks at the
other end of the map, one arty nowhere to be seen, and we're
capping fast. I turn to head down the map. (Note, we are in NO
DANGER of losing the game. The win always comes before the mission,
and the M4 was full health, the KV-85 half health, I was full
health, and by crippled I mean clinging to life, both enemies.) As
I get about a quarter out of the base, the arty spots. I turn and
run back, typing 'I need two kill for my mission, please!'
expecting no response and another dead enemy in a few seconds.
Instead I get 'Sure, go ahead' and 'ok'. The KV-85 actually steps
off the cap to give me more time, and goes with me to the arty
saying 'Let him shoot me, so that you can kill him on the reload.'
I'm in shock and awe as, sure enough, he blocks me and the
arty shoots at him(missing). I zip over and in 6 seconds, 2 down, 1
to go. Fast forward and the crippled medium tank has made it
back and dings the M4 in the track, who responds with a repair kit
and a 76mm shell. The medium has about 50 hp and the M4 goes behind
a rock and says 'Go ahead Chaffee.' I swear by this point
I was hallucinating. I speed around the rock and a shell later have
completed my mission. We all three hop back on the cap to finish
the game. TL;DR: This game has some really nice people
despite the general community. HBFT: That is an awesome story! Thank you for sharing
