A sense of the game after ONE DAY of playing

lot of flak from a few friends who are kinda well known in the WOT
community. I have watched them play several times when visiting
with them and had them explain at length the best strategies for
maps, types of tanks etc. I have even had to endure playing a few
matches in their tanks with them over my shoulder laughing and
giving directions. I have always found the game pretty
realistic and nice to look at (great quality of graphics). But I
too am a heavy gamer and I simply did not have time available to
start a new game. I tend to play heavy in a few games at a time and
mildly in a few others. One of my heavy slots opened up when I
decided to leave whats probably the biggest online community after
playing it hardcore for 12 years. So here I was with a good chunk
of time open for something new. I spent the last 3 weeks
talking with my friends and getting a game plan on what tanks to
start with etc. I also spent a good deal of time researching the
game via these threads and studying wiki.wargaming.net, which
I highly recommend. Then yesterday I created an account and
here I am. So after one day I have few things to bring up:
1. There has to be something that can be done about the
griefing. I got killed (tk) 4 times and pushed off a hill or just
pushed around in general at least 4 times. 2. What I
read here in the threads about light tanks not scouting, WOW. So
true, it seemed to be 100% of the games where our team's light's
refused to scout or move forward at all, all were losses. 3.
I want to get to the t5 Stug first then roll lights, but I made the
mistake of buying a Marder 38T. I then had one option to buy
another Tier4 tank before i get the T5 Stug? Why in the world would
you force a player who is trying to move through the tiers, to have
to buy a second tier 4 in the same line? why would you not just
make it an option like all the lower tiers where I would have
multiple options of which tank to buy next. Just doesnt make sense
and a waste of players time. That's it so far, Having a
blast and looking forward to endless hours of fun improving my
skills here in the World of Tanks. GhostPrime: Welcome to World of Tanks, and the forums! There is a lot of
really good information in our guides section as well as in the
minds of everyone on here! - love the attached image!
