departure to Basic Combat Training back in January. I enlisted as a
Twelve-Bravo, Combat Engineer. Now, fifteen weeks later, I'm coming
up on my graduation from AIT as a Twelve Bravo as of tomorrow, I'll
then be stuck here in the glorious Fort LostInTheWoods, Misery (bad
puns = win amirite) as an Airborne Holdover (meaning I have an
Airborne contract but I'm waiting for my "turn" to ship to Fort
Benning, Georgia for Airborne School. My unit of assignment as long
as I pass Airborne School is the 173rd Airborne Division, and I'll
be set to be stationed in Italy by June 21, as long as I pass
Airborne School as stated. Anyways, it's been a long
journey, I've met many people that I would trust to watch my back
anywhere, any time. I'm going to cut this short, but I'm
open to any and all questions relating to my
training. Feel free to ask anything regarding my experiences or
opinions on various things of BCT. I look forward to truly
beginning my career of Active Duty for this great country, and
thanks to all who have supported my decisions in the past. GhostPrime: Congratulations! ChumCreature is right, i was
just in Naples last October. It's dirty but the food is great! (For
what it's worth, it's great in most of Italy) There is a pizza
place called "Pizzaria Brandi" in Naples, they are famous for the
first "margarita" style pizza. Again,
congrats!
