is super fragile, if someone in your house is streaming netflix,
youtube or downloading copious amounts of porn your in game
performance is likely to suffer even though wot doesnt actually
need much bandwidth to play, it just needs it without any
interruptions and it doesnt like to share.... I use a
program called netlimiter, its free and threw it on all the PCs in
the household and can use it to tailor bandwidth to individual pcs,
youtube and streams dont actually need that much bandwidth but if
its available they will try to grab it all and screw up your
precious game of tanks. Since putting netlimiter on all the PCs in
my house there is a whole lot less screams of "whos on f**king
youtube" echoing through the halls. With proper allocation no one
will notice anything except you being able to shoot tanks more
accurately. SInce allocating a dedicated amount of my homes
bandwidth to my PC 90% of my in game spikes have vanished.
Anyway, worked for me, you may want to try, or not....GhostPrime: I have seen a lot of people that do not take into account
other devices. Smart TVs are often a culprit of taking bandwidth.
Especially if you have multiple tvs, phones, tablets, PCs, gaming
consoles. Kids on the devices too. I always check all devices first
when I get ping spikes.
