WGLNA Season MVP award criteria

GeneralDirection: Actually, regular season MVP often times goes to a player on a team that does not win the championship. It is generally based on regular season criteria; finalists are chosen and then voted on in different ways in each sport. Basketball is one of the rare cases recently, since LeBron James is becoming as dominant a player as Michael Jordan was.
I don't have the exact information available at the moment, but there was data-based criteria as well as how much the person impacted their team.
Obviously there is room for improvement here, which was discussed last night at a player summit after the finals. We may make some tweaks to how the award candidate process works in the future.
