So a T62 will have an easier and more lucrative outcome than a T34 given the exact same mission, and the T34 will have to work much harder to get it.
However, IF the mission tanks are a random selection of tiers then a Tier V should get more points for completion than a Tier X.
So I suggest that instead of (1000XP x Tier N = R), it would make more sense to have it as
(10000 XP / Tier N= R).
10000xp / T10 = 1000
10000xp / T5 = 2000
That way a Tier X finishing the mission gets the 1000XP, but a Tier V would get 2000XP as a recognition of the greater difficulty in completion using the weaker tank.
GeneralDirection: This is an interesting idea from a reward formula standpoint, but
it goes against the goals of the system. We don't want to
discourage high-tier play; in fact, we want to encourage it,
because as others have said, it's the most challenging part of the
game from a skill standpoint.
Getting rewarded for a great battle at tier X should feel awesome, because it's not easy. It's the point in time where things start to make sense, in terms of team strategy, personal tactics, etc. It's basically when, if you play at the tier enough, everything 'clicks' and you're more engrossed in the overall mechanics of the game.
So we want to push more players to that part of the game, not the opposite. We definitely want a healthy number of players at all tiers, but not at the detriment of the top tiers of the game.
