How to "Create Buzz" without getting your thread locked

I.Creating the buzz
A. Find other people with the same issue
1. When posting your suggestion ask that people support your cause in adding the feature into the game.
Ex. I want a "Copy to Clipboard" option for in-game, who agrees with me?
B. Try to see if a GM is available to give a little bit of constructive criticism
1. GMs are our link to the WoT gods, don't make them the enemy.
Ex. Hey, Jewel_thief. If you're not busy would you mind taking a look at my suggestion thread on a "Copy to Clipboard" option in game?
a. Don't bother them with this, one message and a link is enough, the GMs are busy people.
C. Give legitimate reasons as to WHY this would improve the overall WoT experience
1. Have other people give reasons as to why this is a good idea
Ex. "I think this is a great idea! I never have time to write down a username and if I am dead I have to wait till the match ends to 'Copy to Clipboard' someone's name to check out their stats when I leave the match"
2. Get positive support for your BUZZ not negative support for the WGA team, they are only there to try and create a more positive experience for you.
II.What not to do
A. Don't post your ticket messages
1.This will get your thread locked for spam/disputing a WGA GM/Mod
2.It isn't constructive
a.Instead try summarizing what the ticket response was about and make a suggestion that WGA program a rollback system.
Ex. Ticket sent was about accidental crew dismissal and the response said that WGA is unable to rollback any actions.
B. Don't get angry
1. Rallying an angry mob might get you noticed, but it will be negative and less likely to be acknowledged.
C. Don't talk about how much the GMs "suck at doing their job"
1. This is once again not constructive
2. This won't get your suggestion to the ears of the higher ups
3. This is annoying to read
4. They ARE NOT the programmers, they can't magically put your suggestion into the game automatically
a. As much as you would love to, your suggestion will not be instantly in the game. WGA doesn't do much of (if any) the programming. It goes from the players to the WGA team to the main WG people IN RUSSIA. It takes a while and the NA server is not their first concern 100% of the time.
D. Complaining won't get you anywhere

GeneralDirection: This is a fantastic set of rules to follow when considering a post that may be controversial. You can add me to the list of people to reach out to if you're looking to get feedback. However, it should be a private message; don't go with "Hey GeneralDirection, check this out!" as the thread title. :)
