As I recall, the original Tech Tree Focus was 1/2 price tanks AND bonus credits (I maybe confusing some specials). However, do you have comparative numbers from those events? This Tech Tree Focus would encourage players to grind through a couple of tiers to get a higher tier tank cheaper and quicker that they would of originally.
This would encourage people to play a line they may not of considered before, or a country they were reluctant to start playing.
My son would wait for a sale before he would try a new line. He would then grind as far as he could in a couple of days, get advanced a few tiers and then wait out the tank line until it would go on sale again (or there was another special that he could take advantage of)
This is something you may not want to occur.

Operation: X a weekly bonus for X medal/awards= good program___ KEEPER.
New Tech Tree Focus: Weekly credit bonus for a tank line same name as old event = Good program/bad name should be called Tech Tree BONUS___ KEEPER program needs new name.
Any other specials and contests, normally weekends and sometimes monthly holiday focused.

OLD Tech Tree Focus: bring back as original, up to tier 7, but only ONCE per month AND hold it for 2 weeks (or 10 days), but at least over the weekend. This could replace that weekends' special (so we only get 3, not 4 weekend specials). This would encourage the grind of a new line and increase usage of those tanks. It also would encourage a user to "buy back" a tank and take it for a spin, or to Elite, or to get a mastery badge etc when they might not of even tried without the special.
Vehicle Roll Out special. One tank with 2 weeks of credit bonuses. Just pick a tank you need to see (statistically speaking) more of in battle.
Kind of replaced by the new Tech Tree Focus/Bonus program.
MVP and All Star Contests: Replaced by Operation: X???
If so, will miss the gold rewards, but love the not taking screen shot and submitting. Automated rewards are better!!!
Does not certain TIERS get neglected? Maybe a program dedicated by TIER would be good to create.
As much as we complain, we also want to see you be successful ( and continue to grow). We can't wait till it is finally released as 1.0 and no longer 0.8.2.

GeneralDirection: This is all great feedback, thank you Start2. I do like the idea of
changing the name to Tech Tree Bonus if we stick with this format.
The idea of one Tech Tree Focus a month is also an interesting one;
I'll talk with Major_Rampage about that.
