point.Try doing what he is doing with say, a Tiger, M6 or Jadpanzer IV or a 76mm armed Sherman. Gold AP won't boost you the same way the HEAT rounds do, not even close. That's the point of this whole thread.
HEAT is completely laughably broken. Make its pen 100mm and it'll be fine on the 105s etc.
GeneralDirection: The M6 is pretty amazing with premium shells, but other than that
you're probably right... a tank with AP premium probably won't do
as much damage in an average battle as one using HEAT... out of the
tanks you listed.
The one thing we're kind of surprised with here is that the hate is on the M4 and Pz4 (the Pz4 is doing pretty bad data-wise), while the KV-1 is performing incredibly since 8.1. I haven't really seen much of anything on that.
