plenty of hate answers... but..Are people killing others really heroes ?! I always taught a heroes were the one saving others. such as firefighter for exemple....
Im not saying I dont like them, Im not saying they are useless, im not saying anything bad about soldier's. as, killing is part of human nature, Im just saying calling them heroes may be a bit far off. Considering the people in the loosing army are considered war criminal. But sometime, not always the winning team is the good one. Considering that someone who will kill the guy who murdered his daughter will be considered a criminal instead of a hero.
Not to forget that our army's are consisted of mostly volunteer, people who sign up to go kill other people. Are considered heroes..... hhm...This makes me think a lot.
GeneralDirection: You assume people sign up for the Armed Forces because they want to
kill other people. They do it because they believe in their country
and its ideals, and will defend it at all costs--even their own
life.
I do agree that firefighters are heroes as well. But that does not change the fact that men and women put their lives on the line every day of the year in the Armed Forces. Just the same as a firefighter when they step into a building that is on fire, hoping to rescue those caught inside and make sure that the fire does not spread beyond what it has already consumed.
So yes, I would consider that a hero.
