This is how the Matchmaker really works

GeneralDirection: The matchmaker does not take skill into play at all currently. It would be a very significant strain on hardware with the way the matchmaker is designed at this time.
That said, we are rewriting the matchmaker from scratch and may be able to consider additional factors like this. Don't take this as a promise, just that we are listening and considering all options.
