It was an epic battle... wish so much I'd frapsed it. Started off with a scouting run that included running into two lone tds, which are easy prey for a stuart on open terrain. A third tank came to help the second td but only got in range just as he died so I was able to dispatch him without much trouble as well. This was all in the first 90 seconds or so of the match, so with the first three kills so quickly I knew I had a good shot at making something happen here. The midgame was pretty standard 'nano' gameplay that pulled in another 4 kills, for 7 total. Then their last three tanks (a T18, T2 Med and something else I can't recall) started capping our base.
My team was all like 'CAP FAST' but I was like 'naw, imma kill em all'. So I turned on the afterburner and buzzed back to our base, taking wild shots hoping for a lucky decap. Miss--Miss--Miss. Then literally as their cap was at 99 about to hit 100 one of my shots landed. By now I was almost point blank so decapping the other two was easy. Then the T18 got a solid shot with his derp gun that damaged my engine and for a moment I thought maybe this wasn't a great idea afterall. I had a friendly SU-18 lobbing shells into their base too, but he wasn't hitting anything and frankly I was more concerned he was going to accidentally kill me. I managed to kill the T18 before he got another hit and wrapping up the other two was a simple affair.
Finished with 10 kills, 0 damaged, 9 scouted for a Top Gun/Scout/Defender. 1719 xp game (no bonuses), which is no trivial feat in a non-premium tier 3 game I think.
