GeneralDirection: I wanted to provide an update on this.
After taking the feedback in this thread into account, we are going to make the following ruling:
The tournament is now officially over. There will be no further matches, due to the situation as it has played out with the draw rule.
The placing will be:
Panzac - Drop BearsDHAC 1337ROKA (due to the 2:1 status of the "draw" round)503rd Typhoon Witches
The following teams will receive compensation due to these unusual circumstances:
Panzac - PuzzletimersSP-1B
Moving forward, we will no longer be utilizing the draw rule in future NA server tournaments. For the health of tournament competition, a round will play out until a team wins the required number of battles. In addition, tournaments will no longer be named based on regions, but rather the times they are scheduled.
Our billing support team is out for the Thanksgiving holiday, so we will be awarding prizing on November 28th, 2011.
