Wargaming America Inc. is looking to immediately hire experienced Community Managers for its California office.
As Community Manager, you will be part of a tightly knit team of passionate Community and Marketing specialists and will report directly to the Director of Community & Customer Support. This position is located in Northern California in the Bay Area.
Responsibilities:
Be the public voice of Wargaming America for the communityManage Wargaming America's communityBuild, entertain and grow current World of Tanks communityCreatively and proactively assist customersServe as the initial point of contact for inbound requestsIdentify and analyze issues, patterns and trends in customer requests & product performanceCommunicate information to the appropriate departments so that they can respond accordingly.bugs to quality assurancenew ideas to product developmentmessaging effectiveness to marketingfrequently asked questions to customer supportIdentify and leverage user-generated content Author blog posts, articles, podcasts, videos and screencasts Establish metrics & report on them on a monthly basis including recommendationsIdentify & engage advocatesProactively escalate issues, observations, opportunities, and insights to the executive teamCommunicate issues, opportunities and insights to the company at largeStay up to date on new social media toolsParticipate in professional networking by following the prominent bloggers and online writers and by attending eventsOrganize and run competitive gaming tournaments, both internally and externally
Qualifications:
A passion for online games!3+ years of professional experience in Community ManagementExcellent team building skills, combined with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment while staying oriented to detailProven to be self-motivated with a strong ability to follow up on tasksOutstanding communication skills, including solid verbal, written and listening skills and proficient use of the English Language (second language Spanish, Portuguese preferred but not necessary)Ability to maintain a positive attitude with Customers along with internal and external partners
Pluses:
Familiarity with the online game industryKnowledge of the free to play industryUnderstanding of competitive gaming and eSports in the North American marketBachelor’s DegreeFluent Spanish, PortugueseYou enjoy learning and are curious!
