As for not saying it on patch notes, I find it weird as well but the same happened with the Tiger II back when it was on the super test, on patch notes they just mentioned the tank would receive more frontal armor on the turret and they only said the numbers for the flat plate from 185mm to 245mm but never said anything about the roof being improved from 40mm to 50mm and the sides from 100mm to 120mm, so the next time they buff a tank on the turret it could mean the roof and sides as well.
