So the AP AMX 30...

Draschel:  Single shot medium tanks, need something outstanding. When we look at the best single shot mediums, such as 274A and LIS, where do we start. 1a  Lets start with alpha.They have high alpha damage, considerably over the generic 240 seen in T8. So does AP AMX30. So to start, +1 b  Continuing on in firepower, DPM.Bad, very bad. In fact, so bad many auto loader tanks, have clip potential AND  DPM, over AP AMX30. This is extremely bad. LIS, 274A, STA1, 416, Panther 88, Lansen - such tanks have extraordinary surplus of DPM over AP. This is bad.  c   pen performance.263 Pen is alright, good to have. But is 263 pen much different than 259 of things like progetto or RAAC or indien panzer?  How about new release tanks which are getting loads of pen, like 122TM, T1LPC, AMBT? d  Firepower using gun depression.Great, among top bracket of gun depression in tier.  d  Gun handling. Shell velocity is nice, accuracy nice, movement/traverse dispersion nice.Aim-time, turret dispersion, bad. Mixed bag. 2a  Most important protection, camo.Sort of mediocre? I mean, look at its size. Comparable in size to tanks like RH07, Lansen, Mutz, AMBT. Whats with the camo?  b  Armor is poor except a few spaced armor magic zones or ricochet angle hull in situations. Bad over match side armor. Lacks utility of protected mediums like T44100, Mod1, LIS, Type 59. You are liable in being derped in the side by bloody VK2801, but not in things like LIS c  Compounding the poor armor, bad HP to boot. 3a   Misc.Mediocre view range with no radioman. Mediocre gun elevation, mediocre turret rotation. Mediocre terrain resistances.  ..........so what you said, is ''i like this tank. Because it feels good, and I win''Nice. I'm sure the most important person you've only to convince, is you. 1 question, have you played the tank?
