constant same toxicity

Дата: 31.01.2022 08:00:04
Draschel: whats the most common definitive toxicity. I think there are two major camps here, attitude vs skills and ability. A sub par performing, casual player is slighted, irritated by jerks, rudeness, attitude. A competent, competing player out to achieve goals, gets triggered by imbeciles, incompetence, blunders, inability, daftness.  Before entering what happened, a disclaimer. I know I have bad attitude, and to avoid losing my temper over witnessing stupidity, I have chat turned off and anonymizer, and have the setting to automatically decline sent messages. The person manually, went to my service record, to open up a message box through the bottom-right corner.  So I lost a battle, but in the process considerably over-performed in assistance and damage caused. According to what I was driving, the situation I was in, odds against me, disadvantaged map side, Etc. 1st on the post-battle report. I use exp-gained by the way, not damage caused. And after the game, I was on the receiving end, the usual mouthful of distasteful commentary, the usual contemptuous stuff. ''red-line camper''   ''all you do is sit in the back''    ''damage farmer''  As part of clan that I know runs comms, I politely ignored what he had to regurgitate, and instead asked for the opportunity to come into his TS and describe what happened. He said fine. I went on, and briefly described the usual stuff; ''alot of my damage I spotted myself''   ''the post-battle report says only 2 shots of damage were beyond 300m, you exaggerate that I was red-line sniping''   ''I net alot of assistance as well, not just damage caused''   ''l blocked some, so it means I too was shot at''   ''my tank wasn't a very capable one, yet I competed at an excellent level, why aren't you pissed off at others, in better tanks, that didn't compete?''   I of course, also clearly reminded him, ''to take a look at the service record, stating I try my best to win more often than I lose, and I do. I have an upper percentile win rate, I have many tanks 3-marked, and a huge list with ace. Yet, you seem to struggle winning more often than you lose, and only have 1 tank marked. A low tier too. Why is that?'' And a moment after the response was,  ''dude I am not a try-hard that lives in his mom's basement, I play for fun'' You know, I get it. Calling someone the r----- word isn't nice. Very skilled players are commonly seen as ''holier than thou'' and obnoxious. And that sure, is toxicity. But they have the respect to keep it tied to the game. What happens in-game, should stay about the game.I don't know about you, but to immediately get the retort like that, ''you live in your mom's basement'' is the worst toxicity of all. The person ignored results and logical explanation, clearly seen results - ran out of things or didn't have things left to say, was ultimately disproven like an episode of myth-busters, and had nothing to do but insult a person's personal life. This is prejudice, ignorance, slander. That they know nothing of, nor can they see it. The worst toxicity of all.
