Was the Centurion AX Always Terrible

Draschel:  Not a whole lot of people praise the M48A Patton as being an effective, competitive, stellar tier ten tank. While people will definitely admit it is pleasant to play in pub battle, its simply not up to snuff for most forms of competition. CW, no. Ranked, no. Sure it works in qualifier and 3rd division, but not after. But anyway tier X works in qualifiers.  M48 trades camo, HESH, mobility, gun depression  for slightly more DPM, view range, overall armored protection....but importantly massively better gun handling. While people may argue 0.32 centurion base accuracy means something, Patton is more often ready to fire first because of better aim-time and dispersion control. They are similar and take similar battlefield roles.  Simply put in gun depression roles and wars, STB1 is superior. It is faster, has more turret armor, more DPM, more camo. And truth be told M48A patton and centurion are too chunky that Chieftain takes their role anyway, with it being not a whole lot slower.
