Saw Charlemagne on match

View PostBelicia, on Sep 13 2021 - 08:59, said: Some tanks are so slow that it is inevitable that they will occasionally "miss" a battle because it is over by the time they arrive at the front.   Obvious examples include the various Matilda tanks, various Churchill tanks, AMX 40, Japanese super-heavies, DW2 with stock engine, T95, Maus, EBR 105...   Your service record shows that your most-played tank is the Churchill III, and you have almost 100 battles in the Matilda. I'm surprised that you're so blind the limitations of super-slow tanks.

Draschel:  Right. Best to avoid those tanks. But most maps have areas, that the enemy WILL MEET YOU, and you WILL MEET the enemy. You need to learn positioning good enough to understand these areas. This account is meaningless, a placard made to do dumb things farming south server bots. But the point stands, driving a churchill or matilda to locations to always influence the battle. Despite the slownessAgain, this is the same message someone with 11,000 PR will tell you. Its not just me. Lets try not to focus on service records, but rather what makes gameplay and what makes a flop. Positioning is the single most important, powerful tool a player has. Unless said player is in a bonds outfitted, directive fed, 8 crew skill  279E and chances are if thats your opponent not much helps anyway.
