Draschel: The simple explanation, is that you perform poorly in tank,
direct fire classes. No shame in that, LOTS of people do not
do well in them, because its requires astuteness that is
lacked. It is massively fundamentally different thatn
tank destroyers. The mere fact you say that, is alone a statement
of inexperience. There is nothing wrong with being
inexperienced.Arta:

Shoot direct-fireShoot
outside of render mechanics, in birds-eye-view
Shoot in 1st person or 3rd person, shells travel only
to 720m. Viewable targets, even less.Very little concern over
safety in being spotted on firing Must be
concerned over getting spotted by enemy forward obersvers. Must
know bush mechanicsRequires little aim. Center of mass and
pray.
Must aim the shot. 395 HEAT from a TD can still
bounce, track hits mean nothingImprecise. Accuracy doesn't matter
really.
Accuracy matter for TDs
crucially. Requires additional resources in guards,
protecting. Do not require
team resources and protecting. Frequent THEY protect artyAct alone,
hard to co-operate with, not focused
Act more as part of the
team, sharing HP, view range, pushes/defense
responsibilities The only things arty and SPG typically
have in common, are 2: They are mostly turretless casemate
structured vehicles. And they typically stay further from combat
than other classes. But the big difference in TDs STAY in that
envelope of combat, because of rendering. Arty are out of it,
making them hugely, vastly different. Only inexperienced
players think this, if arty magically disappeared tomorrow, yes all
the arty players would migrate to TD. I am sure of it. Simply
because it is the next safest class furthest away from the enemies,
using as much forest as possible. It is the least mobility
concerned class, compared to tanks. Requires the least aiming from
Med/Hvy/LT. But make no mistake, arty and TDs are very freaking
different
