Draschel: Depends the tank. More often than not, a few certain
examples are narrowed out. A) Bad dispersion TD
with turrets, without access to stabilizer
Charioteer, Conway, FV, Hellcat, T78,
M56, T30, 110E4, Skorpion G, Grille. These vehicles have good
accuracy, but are plagued by horrendous dispersion soft stats that
constantly bloom their reticle with even the slightest of traverse.
Gun laying drive does not help this. And since no vertical
stabilizer, in order to stack with rotation mechanism, only
ventilation and aiming class also boost
dispersion. B) Campy high camo TD which bush up
and fire all game, at 500m distances. Not really in use here for
dispersion control, but rather to maximize accuracy. TD like
Grille, S1, Strv, E25, M56 C) Vehicles with poor DPM,
that can afford to take the DPM penalty to gain utility in extra
gun control. For instance, a tank like Lowe, T34 heavy,
KV4 Kresl, T77, Hellcat have extremely poor
DPM. No matter what you do, maximizing their rate of fire,
still won't give them respectable DPM. Yet with smart usage, they
can positively trade with alpha damage, if provided better tuning
up in gun control D) Autoloaders. While stabilizer
and rotator, are far more important for autoloaders, some examples
like Skoda T25, Strv m57, GSOR cannot fit a stabilizer. Debatable
over what you take, a gun layer or aiming class, but in situations
with bad overall accuracy, yet extremely good soft dispersion stats
(703,Bourat) aiming class helps remedy that problem E)
Derper tanks. Tanks like Buigi, oho, OI, KV2, SU152, Type 5,
Sheridan can have horrendous derp gun accuracy. Aiming class helps
dispersion, while also boosting their accuracy, something
stabilization can't do on its own
