Draschel: It is a game of position.  A chessboard.  So, when dealing with a hull down tank, trying to remove it and destroy it, by target plinking with HE? This is an awareness, a skill, a position problem.  You are forcing yourself into a bad position, to deal with an entrenched enemy, in a good position. And fighting on their advantageous terms. Regardless of what you do, the enemy is already out-witting you, at onset. This is a loser's tactic, unless the hulldown enemy has like 15HP and your HE removes him By the way, Super Conqueror front turret, outside of the gun mantle square and uncovered by the spaced armor cheeks,  ranges from 280-316mm. Meaning  premium ammunition like E100 and Skorpion  311 pen APCR, or SU130PM with 320 HEAT, can certainly threaten super conqueror. And tier X 330-350 pen ammo? Childs play.  That is why chieftain  (along with its speed)  replaced super conqueror so quickly. The turret is stronger and more reliable, even without spaced armor cheeks
