Draschel:  We are assuming that someone is shooting IS6 in a supposed easily defeatable location, when faced straight on at level ground, that is no more effective than 210-213mm AP. We are assuming that someone does not take into account slight angling, just about listing 20' left or right, and all of a sudden that same pen chance becomes 50/50 with 234 pen. One of the better AP pen available in tier.  And if penetration target marker isn't used, the person wouldn't even suspect their green shifted to orange. We are assuming the lower hull can be hidden for the most part, or at least minimized to a fraction of a side, like in the picture. Then all of a sudden, the weak points for IS6 using 234 AP, or 249 APCR, or 270 HEAT. As IS6 certainly isn't a flat fatty, and normalization plays a huge role. Push out the IS6 image to 100m, it isn't above and largely the same. +/- 5 for angle. I am not stacking anything into IS6 favour. I ran the same model with using Lowe 234 AP, 248 APCR, Bisonte 270 HEAT. You can spin it however you like. IS6 has armor. Does it have 252U armor? No it does not, and no one said it does. IS6 i very much like IS4 armor layout. Without the cupola. Not that the cupola are much trouble because they are small. same weakpots, same side profile, good turret. And tiers pretty much scale tier to tier. The only time Is4 armor works, is when it is defeating attacks from tier 8. Which is the ame bloody thing as Is6 bouncing away 6s Think whatever you like. Not going to argue over the matter. You seem to have less experience concerning it, why bother. Only an idiot think super pershing has more armor than Is6.
