Doing well with just AP, and using your armor.

Draschel: Let's say I started my AMX M4 finally,  and fired exclusively 105mm APCR. And I'd do it no other way, for sure. Maybe 3-4 HE, for some junk like HK30  and SU130PM if I see it. I do so, for shell velocity and trajectory, to not be intimidated by higher tiers and to contribute by "punching up", for an outrageous free damage perk, to mitigate 167 penetration vs 223, to mitigate minimum penetration roll on 167 which can be as low as 125 - not even enough to penetrate SU100 or jag pz IV for goodness sake, do you think that is fair for a 167 AP gun? All of these reasons, I believe are legitimate, and perfectly fine reasons for using APCR.  A bad example because ARL44 and AMX M4 free damage boost, but none of the other reasons really require premium ammo against something like AMX CDC other than contact range as I said before if in that CDC I laugh. And really that is what I think of as an actual *spammer. When you are driving your T-92 or Senlac or HK30 light tank and start taking 320 damage from 140 or TVP using HEAT. Not once, repeated. Funny stuff.
