Is the T44-100 any good?

Draschel: The gun isn't tier VII.  The gun just isn't tier VIII. T 44 100 is an excellent med, probably the third best non autoloader tier 8 medium, behind the LIS and 274A. It offers excellent mobility, excellent gun handling, decent armor, decent gun depression.If it were not for LIS release, T44100 would remain a whole lot better.
