Draschel: Heavy tanks can still deploy their armor to great effect, even if the enemy is using premium ammunition or HE. They just have to do more and think about it. Rather than driving in a straight line in the open towards the enemy.You will see in clan battles and randoms and Ranked, heavy tanks still ricochet and cause penetration failures to lots and lots of enemies and premium ammunition. Premium rounds aren't  *press 2 and penetrate* Fast heavy tanks are definitely more meta-game oriented now, and are very popular late tier but require more fundamentals and game insight to use, than super heavy tanks. Examples of fast heavy tanks include object 260, Chieftain, Kranvagn, RenegadeSuperheavy tanks are less about patience and more about static, defensive, positional warfare. They are highly map dependent. While they are easier to use, they are harder to squeeze high potentials out of because of limited mobility. They can excel, truly - in maps like Himmelsdorf, Ensk, Berlin, Pilsen, Paris with sprawling city ruins and continuous hard cover. Likewise, they can also utterly fail and be totally bombed in maps like malinovka, prokhorvoka, Redshire, Glacier, Murovankha due to large swatches of open ground, few areas of cover, and far combat ranges.  Super heavy tanks include things like oho, Maus, E100, VK4502B
