bear in mind that while we are representatives for our
organization, we are not infallible or incapable of making mistakes
in a high-pressure situation.
Having to field the brunt of the community's ire gracefully, on stream, right after the big shakeup occurred and operating on incomplete information is no small ask. It's certainly possible that in the heat of the moment she may have mis-articulated something but knowing her personally for many years and working with her I've got nothing but great things to say about the lengths to which Tragic goes to advocate on behalf of our community. There isn't a bone in her body that would intentionally place the blame for a corporate blunder on the players that she is constantly advocating for. In that regard, I would ask that you take that into consideration before passing judgment.
That said, I don't have much of an update because for a number of reasons, both technical and otherwise - the compensation plan for gifted boxes is still a work in progress. A timely resolution is still very much a priority - we haven't forgotten about y'all - and we've spent quite a bit of time working on an extra urgent sentiment report to make sure we're clearly communicating the extent of the community's sentiment on these issues to our leadership teams. I'm cautiously optimistic that maybe we'll be able to get some extra quality of life improvements that might help ease the burden of the event progression, as some players have suggested.
I'm probably starting to sound like a broken record at this point - by no means is this an attempt to placate you - but your continued patience is indeed appreciated.
