DomoSapien: So, you can link your steam account to your Wargaming.net ID in
order to login with Steam, however there is currently no way to
download/install the Steam version of World of Tanks for use with
existing accounts.
That said, to my knowledge there aren't many advantages to using the Steam version as it simply launches WGC. If you like being able to launch WoT via your Steam client, you can click Games>Add a Non-Steam Game to my Library in order to add WGC to your Steam launcher.
If you'd like to use your Steam credentials to log in to the WoT Portal, you can bind your steam account to your WG.net ID under 'account support' in the top right drop-down menu that shows up when you click on your username.
