meantime new and shiny tanks will be offered in bundles at elevated
costs.

But for those of us who already bought the premiums that seemed interesting, not relevant. Likewise for others who just aren't ready to bust out the plastic for any premium, also not relevant. But to be constructive there are plenty of other ways to make premium tanks more interesting. For instance, what if premiums could gain a bonds income like tier 10s do? Or what if they could use the food consumable at a reduced price? Or if they even had a choice of equipment slot bonuses. Or the simple things, a higher base credit income factor for example.

All the other servers are having crew discounts and other stuff for this weekend except NA. You guys became super bad at weekend events after you moved to Texas. Might want to consider that for a change.
DomoSapien: It's definitely one of the things I mentioned in the feedback
report: there are concerns that the price reduction will simply be
offset by more expensive bundling options in the future. Some
commitments in this regard might go a long way towards sentiment.

DomoSapien: I don't believe we will be offering any retroactive Gold discounts
or refunds as a result of the price reduction, but I have added
this to the list of suggestions in the feedback report.

DomoSapien: Timing is a bit odd, but all bundles running through the 11th
should already have been adjusted, so the price of the T92 and
Renegade should already have been altered to reflect the pricing
change.

DomoSapien: Certainly some interesting suggestions - however something to keep
in mind is that a 10% discount on premium tank pricing is insular
from the gameplay itself. This is something we can do that won't
have far-reaching longterm implications for the in-game economy.
Not writing off the suggestions, they've been added to the feedback
report - but much more ambitious because we'd have to forecast
what the impact on in-game economy would be and that is
critical to our regular cadence of events and content cycle.

DomoSapien: For what it's worth, like I mentioned above the T92 and Renegade
bundles have already been adjusted to fit the new pricing model,
but I do like the idea of a Premium Time discount, or a
complimentary premium battle pass for folks that reach a certain
threshold with their monthly expenditures. Kinda like a rewards
program or something.

DomoSapien:
Honestly, if you were to make a running list of weekend discounts specials etc. from each region, compare them to one another, you'd find that at the end of the year they more or less even out.
I've lost count of the times I've seen reddit threads to the effect of "WHY DOES WG HATE EU? LOOK AT THE DISCOUNTS ON NA" - not to say that it's always 1:1 (we happily pushed for our monetization guys to retroactively offer the same holiday discounts that EU had over New Years last year) - and I'm happy to pass this feedback on to the monetization guys, but this is one of the first weekends in quite some time where we haven't had some type of discount or special going on.
