Why is everyone pushing their teammates into the open?

Story time! I worked in our CS department as a Customer Support Rep for 3 years. Generally, we would dread getting Rule Violations tickets because our Privacy Policy prevents us from telling you whether or not action was taken against the person you reported. Sometimes, the standard of evidence for a certain rule violation would prevent us from sanctioning someone who was, say, on the fence but had a bit of reasonable doubt because of the circumstances.
Long story short, answering RV tickets sucks because you always get bad scores and you can't always sanction someone who's pretty clearly being a jerk, because maybe their behavior doesn't quite cross any policy lines.
There is one exception, and that is Physics Abuse tickets: I always looked forward to getting Physics Abuse tickets, because Physics Abuse is quite easy to prove with a replay, so they were easy/quick tickets to answer (yay, quota!) but also satisfying because we were issuing bans to people who clearly deserved them. Pretty cathartic.
TL;DR - Our CSR's genuinely look forward to answering tickets about Physics Abuse violations (as opposed to other RV tickets) because Physics Abuse is really easy to prove with replay evidence. If someone is pushing you out, and you submit a ticket with a replay of the battle: you can be like, 95% confident that they're going to get a strike.
I know, it takes a few minutes to log in and submit the ticket, but this is the most effective way to ensure that someone who is pushing you out of cover actually gets a strike for it. Our sanctions escalate for repeat offenses so if you see the same person doing the same thing later on down the line, instead of assuming we didn't do anything because we didn't immediately give them a permanent ban, report them again so that they get another strike + a longer ban than before. Who knows, maybe they were on strike 4 and reporting them one more time will be the nail in the coffin that gets them the perma.
EDIT: Also, reminder that Community Contributors are not exempt from the game rules. If you see a CC breaking the rules, don't hesitate to report them.
