Strange, I just did 1.9k in my strv from over 300 away and got credit for it as well
If that's the case, it sounds like it's affecting different players in different ways, please submit a ticket with a replay and relevant screenshots of your mission UI if your missions aren't going off properly so hopefully CS will be able to identify what seems to be causing issues for affected players.
