If by "has WG learned anything" you mean HQ has learned not to approve my events because stuff breaks when you try to go outside the box... I certainly hope not. Despite the hiccups I've gotten a lot of feedback from players who are excited about the Scavenger Hunt, and they would certainly be sad to see it go.
