WOT Customer Service

Дата: 04.12.2018 19:40:29
DomoSapien: Hi there! Thanks for the candid and honest feedback.
I do understand that the practice of canned responses is a frustrating one, however having worked in Customer Support (Billing Support in particular) for WG for a number of years I can tell you that, when you have to tell thousands of people that your billing entity coincides with your corporate headquarters in Cyprus, it does help to have that bit pre-written. I'm not a fan of canned responses and I did my best to hand-write everything that I could, but in Customer Support Center culture in general (this goes for most organizations), your representatives have a quota for volume of cases handled daily.   Not defending the practice as a whole but...it is what it is. That said, the suggested alternatives are just that: suggestions. You may not appreciate someone telling you what alternative methods we have available because it seems like a sidestep instead of a fix, but the representative is offering you what is at their disposal to try and provide you with a resolution to your billing inquiry. I get that as a whole it sounds, well, a little canned, and this is not meant as a slight to you but rather done in the interest of efficiency.   As for 'attaching' your bank card, you don't have to save your credit card information with us. Actually, if I'm going into detail: our current Billing Partner for most Visa, Mastercard etc. payments is Adyen. They are a reputable and well-established payment aggregator, much like Paypal. If you don't want your card information going through Adyen, you can use Paypal. (I've used Paypal for over 10 years with zero issues, they are arguably the most reputable payment aggregator out there.) If you don't want to use Paypal, you can purchase a prepaid card like Karma Koin, etc.
We are also working on getting our Amazon Pay support restored however these efforts are ongoing and we don't currently have a timeframe for that particular fix.   Sure, these seem like roundabout methods to address what could be solved by a US-based billing entity, however I can't claim to know the specifics of the contract and tax law that would go into setting all that up, so I can't really comment in that regard. That would be like a professional Plumber giving his opinion on Thermonuclear Dynamics.

I can, however, tell you that we do our best to have a variety of different methods available in case your preferred method is unavailable. I can also tell you that I'm quite happy to pass your feedback in this regard on to our Payments Teams, and I will be doing just that.
