Tournaments..make it fair for all

DomoSapien: We have been taking a few steps to hopefully create a natural division between the high-rated and low-rated tournament competitors. 

The first is that we have been running at least 1 weekly tournament that is split into two brackets (two separate tournaments entirely, really, but similar format) the Mastery and Challenger brackets.

The Challenger Bracket prizes typically have about half the value of the Mastery Bracket prizes. Theoretically this should encourage higher-rated teams to compete in the Mastery Bracket, but of course there is nothing stopping them from signing up for Challenger, with the exception of the tournaments running simultaneously, meaning you can only participate in one of them.

Filtering teams by rating, currently, is an undertaking that would be extremely labor-intensive, and involve manually sorting through each and every player on each and every team that signed up, and manually disqualifying teams one-by-one.

We are tentatively planning a larger Clan tournament that will be sorted by clan rating, so that less-experienced and smaller clans will still have a chance to participate in some competitive endgame content.
