or against SBMMing. The part that is most infuriating is,
this is obscenely easy to “fix” and it wouldnt make everyone
50% players like the doom sayers like to suggest. Its
extremely simple. Step 1. Use the exact same criteria
to choose teams. Grab X number of tanks of each tier so we
match heavies vs heavies, mediums vs mediums etc as well as
possible. Match maker chooses the exact same 30 tanks it would
choose today. No changes needed. Step 2. Each
time you are assigning a tanker to a team, note the PR of the
team you assigned. It’s a simple +1 or -1 calculation based
on what team is currently advantaged. Step 3. If team
A got a higher PR player then team B last time, next time
there is a “draw” in tank type, assign team B the next highest
available PR player of the current class from the existing
queue. Step4. Repeat until you assigned 15 players to
each side. Done. ————————- Its
not bloody difficult, it doesn’t render skilled players at a
disadvantage, it does however make the glaring stomps less
prevalent. Really, why is this such a difficult concept to
grasp. It’s literally just the same system as today’s just
taking account PR when tanks are even between teams. This one
small change would make many matches much more balanced,
something most players should want. Is it perfect….
No. Is it better than what we have today.., for non
stat padders I have to assume yes. Never let the pursuit of
perfect get in the way of good enough.

Ok, explain me then. I win more than I lose, and I want the
system I just described, That’s because I care more about
fun than winning, even though under this system I highly doubt I
would winless (or more). I’d just enjoy the fairness of that
matches more. Stomps suck, as both a winner and a loser.
Again, said as someone more in the win column than the lose
column. The whole it’s just scrubs that want fairness
argument is pretty hollow
DeviouslyCursed: The only thing worse than a SBMM is a half-a**** SBMM. Your
idea sucks. It's also telling that you think a SBMM of any
kind if going to reduce stomps/blowouts. The story of SBMM
proponents: too ignorant to know SBMM won't fix blowouts, yet too
stupid to listen to those that do know it won't fix blowouts.

this subject. 1. Remove MM altogether except for the queue. 2.
Every player that clicks battle will enter the queue. On the queue
page a Become Leader button will be added. Click on it to begin
choosing players for your team. If you just want to be a player do
nothing but wait to be chosen. 3. Once you click Become
Leader an opposing Leader on the same tier and type will appear,
You both see the others name, rating, type and tier. 4. From the
queue you will each select team members within the established type
and tier limits. The players in the queue will have an indicator
number, 1 to 5, next to their name. 1 = novice, 3 = average
and 5 = expert. 5. As the players are selected their name,
rating, type and tier appear to both leaders. 6. The selection
process continues until both teams are filled or 4 minutes pass. At
4 minutes the vacant slots will be filled from the queue
automatically with 1 rated players until the teams are complete. If
there are no 1s, 2s will be used and so forth. 7. Once the teams
are complete a random battle type and map will be chosen, players
placed on the map and the count down begins. 8. Play the battle and
have fun. There shouldn't be any objection to this. Every player
can be a leader of a team or a chosen player on a team. Every
team will be balanced to the the two leaders desires. Win, lose or
draw blame them for screwing you over. Now everyone complain
about a possible 4 minute wait for the battle match up you want.
DeviouslyCursed: Okay, I stand corrected. This is far worse than
TheRealSerapth's idea...
