Why do Some Argue Against Skill Based MM?

And because it is not a balanced team (and I agree it's not a balanced team), the SBMM would have to force the worse set of teammates onto the better player to create a balanced match. The SBMM would have to give the better set of teammates to the worse player. Again, in an effort to create a balanced match. This is clear discrimination in assigning teammates to players. Once again, you can think that is okay, that a player being consistently shafted with worse teammates than someone else, because the end goal of balanced win chance of matches is a preferred goal. That is fine. But to deny that the player is getting shafted is dishonest in the extreme. Random MM folks feel the occasional unbalanced teams are okay, because treating all players as equal is a preferred environment. The only time I have unbalanced teams is when we lose the match we were clearly supposed to win.
